Job in a nutshell:
In this role you will bring a step change in savings/value within your segment(s) to GBU P&L and to assure that savings realization is achieved.

What will you be doing:

1. For local actions, you will help users in the writing of specifications, run tenders, negotiate, formalize contracts, monitor supplier performance, drive continuous improvement and innovation of the suppliers, and measure internal customer satisfaction.
2. Act as conduit for global deals into GBU and for low-cost sourcing deals back to the Global category managers and lead buyers (if applicable).
3. Work with all Global and Local team members to identify, integrate and realize global and local actions applicable to the subarea.
4. Ensure integration of purchasing activities related to other functions and operations in GBU and relevant commercial flow down to subarea third-party suppliers as determined by the Procurement Bid team.
5. Perform Strategic Supplier management where appropriate.

Requirements:
• Working knowledge of the English Language, both written and spoken.
