About the role

The Test Engineer Jr is responsible for conducting electrical, mechanical, and performance testing on air conditioning units (cooling and heat pumps) according to industry standards such as ANSI, AHRI, and ASHRAE.

Requirements

As a minimum, you must have:

• 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in using test equipment and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Test Engineer Jr, you’ll be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive testing on air conditioning units.
• Analyzing test data and generating detailed reports.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintaining an acceptable level of 5S in the lab.

Technical Knowledge

• Knowledge of AHRI, ASTM D4169 Shipping and ASHRAE 41.2 standards.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 quality system.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems.
• Ability to provide technical expertise during the evaluation of test results.
• Familiarity with laboratory tools and equipment.
