To sell FedEx services to customers in assigned revenue bands, through approved techniques, in an assigned geographic area; to make presentations for prospective and established accounts; and to service existing accounts.
Ensures attainment of assigned revenue goals. Maximizes the number of effective calls made each day to establish accounts and strengthen distribution and sales volumes. Develops and maintains a predefined customer base through effective sales techniques. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of customer activity and account profile information to ensure proper call frequency and follow-up in resolving customer problems. Assists in the implementation of marketing and promotional programs. Interfaces with different FedEx departments to ensure customer satisfaction (for Credit & Collections, Invoicing, Customer Service, or Operations) in a timely manner, providing feedback to the lead source regarding the results. Works with account executives to support lower volume accounts. Responds to leads from Marketing, Customer Service, or Operations in a timely manner, providing feedback to the lead source regarding the results. Prepares and maintains updated reports, files, and related paperwork.
