Position Overview:
ThePlanning Managerwill lead the planning and allocation teams, driving the strategic vision for inventory management and sales performance. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, deep retail expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic planning and allocation processes to optimize inventory levels and maximize sales.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of planners and allocators, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align planning and allocation strategies with business goals.
Analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Drive process improvements and implement best practices in planning and allocation.
Prepare and present high-level reports and recommendations to executive leadership.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in retail planning and allocation, preferably in fast fashion or luxury retail.
75-80% English proficiency (written and spoken).
Advanced Excel skills and extensive experience with SAP (highly preferred).
Proven track record of managing planning and allocation teams in retail, wholesale, and eCommerce environments.
Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
A big plus if they have worked in shared services within the planning and allocation department.
