**Position: System Analyst (Logistics/Warehouse Management), Mexico City.
The System Analyst (Logistics/Warehouse Managementis a technical role requiring experience with **SAP warehouse management systems** and a strong understanding of logistics processes. This position focuses on analyzing business needs, implementing IT concepts, and performing daily operational service activities to support logistics and warehouse operations.
Important Non-Negotiable Considerations:
The job is ON-SITE in Polanco, Mexico City for at least the first 3 months, after which it will transition to a hybrid work model.
A minimum of 80% proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support logistics IT applications and operations for both company-owned and third-party warehouses (3PL).
- Track and manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop problem solutions.
- Translate business requirements into IT concepts and implement them in **SAP WM / LES / EWM**.
- Optimize and continuously improve logistics information systems and cross-module functionalities using standard SAP tools.
- Assist with testing activities, including creating test scenarios, cases, and scripts, as well as executing unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Participate in, manage, and drive US and international IT-related projects.
- Collaborate with regional and global IT and business teams.
- Continuously refresh and expand technical and functional knowledge in the defined area of responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- Experience:At least 3 years of experience implementing/supporting business solutions using **SAP WM-LES** or **SAP EWM** (preferably in retail or consumer goods industries). Experience with 3PL technology is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of logistics processes such as inbound, put-away, pick, pack, VAS, outbound, inventory management, and transportation systems.
- Experience configuring SAP systems to meet logistics business requirements.
- Knowledge of integration points between **SAP WM/ECC** and other modules.
- Familiarity with SAP interface technologies like **Idoc/ALE, CIF, RFC**, and the ability to analyze issues related to XML files, RF devices, labels, and forms in SAP.
- Experience with testing in SAP, including unit, functional, and integration testing, using tools like **Azure** and **Jira**.
-Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills in English for daily interactions with diverse teams. Fluency in German, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Analytical, independent, structured, and detail-oriented work attitude. Strong organizational skills and assertiveness, with the ability to prioritize, manage commitments, and adapt to changing priorities.
