Resumen

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced HR Operations/Recruiter to lead our recruitment efforts. This role will manage the entire recruiting process on an as-needed, ad hoc basis and will be integral to scaling our team as we continue to grow. We’re looking for someone who can source, interview, and present top talent quickly and efficiently, with a focus on digital marketing roles. Ideally, this person or small team will have experience recruiting for a marketing agency, understand our hiring needs, and be able to implement best-in-class recruiting practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating second-round interviews with the leadership team.
  • Build and maintain a candidate pipeline, ensuring the timely delivery of 3-5 high-quality candidates per role by sourcing across various channels, such as UpWork, LinkedIn, Slack communities, your network, and recruitment agencies.
  • Design and implement an effective interview process, including scorecards and testing assessments tailored to each role.
  • Post job openings in relevant channels, ensuring visibility to qualified applicants, and manage job postings across platforms.
  • Maintain and update an ATS or candidate tracking system to ensure detailed tracking of communications and progress.
  • Collaborate closely with the Founder, Director of Marketing, and Project Manager to align on role requirements, recruitment strategies, and hiring timelines.
  • Provide regular updates to the leadership team on hiring progress, challenges, and recommended strategies for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to anticipate hiring needs and ensure recruitment strategies are aligned with the agency’s goals.
  • Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies as needed to supplement sourcing efforts.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the team and an excellent candidate experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within a marketing agency or digital marketing environment.
  • Strong ability to independently manage the recruitment process from start to finish.
  • Experience recruiting for digital marketing roles such as Digital Marketing Manager, Copywriters, Designers, SEO, Email Marketers, Media Buyers, Media Planners, Account Managers, and Marketing Operations Specialists.
  • Familiarity with various recruiting channels, including job boards, freelance platforms, social networks, and recruiting agencies.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and implement testing assessments and scorecards for evaluating candidates.
  • Self-starter with strong time management skills and the ability to get up and running quickly.

Metrics of Success:

  • Reduce time-to-hire across all roles while maintaining high-quality candidate pipelines.
  • Increase the percentage of candidates passing the second round of interviews.
  • Maintain an average of 3-5 high-quality candidates per open role.

The position requires 10- 20 hours per week (you don't have to adhere to a specific schedule, just the hours). The hiring can be flexible. In this position, it doesn't matter if you have other projects or a full-time job as long as you can manage 10-20 hours per week.
