Project Coordinator II (Localization)

Resumen
Preferred Responsibilities

Our Localization Testing team is looking for a Project Coordinator who collaborates well cross-functionally, is extremely detail-oriented, and can lead a project from planning to execution. Familiarity with localization, QA, software development, bug triage, and/or project management is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and manage localization schedules from translation to QA to launch. Communicate timelines and test results across our main partners: Localization Program Managers, Language Managers, Engineers, QA, Vendors, and Content Designers.
  2. Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, across multiple business units, by setting clear expectations for stakeholders and localizers. Communicate instructions in a clear and timely manner.
  3. Ability to execute and create basic test plans for our linguists.
  4. Analyze current pain points in workflows and tools, provide suggestions for improvements, and pilot implementation of new processes.
  5. Make independent decisions and work well under pressure in the face of ambiguity and aggressive deadlines.
  6. Ability to prioritize, triage, and escalate i18n bugs. Comfortable working with product teams to ensure fixes are done before launch.
Skills:
  1. Experience working in Localization, QA, and Project Management.
  2. Track record of getting products launched in a large set of locales.
  3. Experience in task prioritization, ability to identify problems, and work towards solutions.
  4. Solid understanding of common challenges with developing products for international markets.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience with localization platforms, file formats, and CAT tools or any similar in-house localization tools and platforms that manage and/or automate the translation workflow.
  2. Familiarity with product and software development process.
  3. Relevant experience in software localization, localization program management, or management of localization technology solutions.
  4. Experience in hardware, augmented reality, virtual reality, advertising, or payment testing.

Additional Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
  2. Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  3. Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  4. Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
