Your team responsibilities

This role is associated with the MSCI Real Estate indexes & Data. MSCI Real Estate is a leading provider of real estate performance and risk analysis, providing critical business intelligence to real estate owners, managers, brokers, lenders and occupiers worldwide. The company's unique database holds searchable information on 79,000 properties, valued at approximately USD 1.7 trillion, which are located in 33 countries, with a long performance history (25+ years) and which are mostly appraised quarterly.

Your key responsibilities

1. Data management for a portfolio of private equity real estate funds
2. Address client queries related to funds, analyze and amend in accordance with MSCI procedure
3. Provide bespoke analysis if/when requested by clients
4. Build and maintain effective relationships with client coverage, research and data teams.
5. Participate and deliver on the assigned projects, as per milestones
6. Drive efficiency by getting involved in Process Improvement initiatives
7. Apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative work-flow efficiencies and enhance processes
8. Enforce adherence to Data Provider Code of Conduct to ensure data inclusion to MSCI Private Real Estate Indexes

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

1. Fundamental knowledge in accounting and finance is mandatory - Real Estate market knowledge is a plus
2. Working knowledge of MS Excel skills (required) and knowledge of VBA skills, Power BI and Python (desirable)
3. Fluency in English language is a must
4. 0 to 2 years of work experience in financial services
5. Bachelors in any finance or engineering related discipline are required; management degree is a plus
6. Confident and motivated to work in a global environment
7. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
8. Detail oriented, willingness to learn and grow per the business goals and adaptable to changing requirements
9. Appreciation for diverse cultural norms/style
10. Self-motivated, independent, quick-learner and strong team player
