HEAD OF FINANCE MX

Requirements:

• Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Accounting, Business Administration or related career. A graduate degree or certification in international finance (MBA, CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in finance roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions in manufacturing companies, preferably within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
• English: Fluency in both oral and written English, with the ability to present and defend financial reports at an international level.
• Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of Mexican (NIF) and international (IFRS) tax and accounting regulations, advanced financial ERP (SAP, Oracle or similar) and Excel proficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead all financial operations of the Company in Mexico, including accounting, treasury, taxes, cost control, and audits.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial statements in accordance with Mexican (NIF) and international (IFRS) standards.
• Establish and maintain financial policies to ensure proper internal control.
• Develop and coordinate the annual budget and financial projections.
• Analyze financial information and provide detailed reports and analysis to support strategic decision making.
• Develop financial plans to support plant growth and company expansion in the marketplace.
• Ensure that all financial operations are conducted in accordance with Mexican regulations and applicable international standards.
• Work closely with the production and purchasing areas to monitor and optimize operating costs, seeking efficiencies that promote cost leadership.
• Implement controls to ensure efficient management of working capital and optimization of financial resources.
• Lead and motivate the finance team to ensure proper execution of all financial tasks.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other area managers to ensure a strong financial vision that supports plant and overall company objectives.
• Participate in meetings and calls with global finance teams, providing detailed financial reporting and ensuring alignment with corporate goals and policies.

We offer:

$140,000-$170,000 gross monthly salary
