OBJECTIVE: Supervises and Coordinates Personnel involved in one or more Production Tasks according to Quantity and Quality specifications.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
1.- Supervises and Coordinates Personnel involved in one or more Production Tasks to Insure the Continuous Workflow as well as the fulfillment of Projects according to Quantity and Quality Specifications.
2.- Analyzes Production Programs and estimates Man-Hour requirements to complete the assigned
job.
3.- Analyzes and solves work problems or assists Workers in solving work related problems.
4.- Appraises the Performance of Subordinates and Recommends the appropriate Development Plans. Recommends or initiates Personnel measures such as Promotions, Transfers, Dismissals and Disciplinary Actions.
5.- Can train new Workers.
6.- Maintains Production and Time records.
7.- Can Estimate, Request or Inspect raw materials.
8.- Meets with other Supervisors to achieve the coordination of activities between the individual
Departments.
9.- Develops, Modifies and Maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Production Function.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
REPORTS TO: Production Manager.
JOB POSITIONS THAT CAN REPORT DIRECTLY: Production Supervisors, LeadAssemblers, Operators and Assemblers.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Engineering or other Professional Degree or Equivalent Experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3 to 5 years in the Implementation of Production Programs and Personnel Supervision.
LEVEL OF ENGLISH FLUENCY: Advanced.
COMPUTER USAGE: Intermediate/Basic (Use of Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Etc.) or Application Programs.
