Responsibilities
The Opportunity
Join our team of Global Compliance professionals to lead critical aspects of our Global Compliance & Ethics Third Party Risk Management Program, focusing on the mitigation of bribery and corruption-related risks that our Company faces around the world. As a Compliance Associate Manager on the Anti-Bribery/Anticorruption (ABAC) team, you will provide both high quality support and oversight to the global Compliance & Ethics function by managing key tasks associated with Third Party ABAC risk management. You will gain global knowledge of our Third Party Due Diligence Program by interfacing with Sector business partners to successfully implement this program; you will serve a critical function in our due diligence processes, in our Third Party ABAC training, and will support Third Party ABAC transaction testing initiatives, as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking to gain critical experiences provided by a global program role. The role will be based in Mexico City, Mexico and is also open to candidates physically located in Argentina. The role will report into a Compliance Senior Manager at GC&E Corporate in the US.
Your Impact
As Compliance & Ethics, Associate Manager your scope would consist:
- Accountability for administrative activities and process flow of submitted TPDD Profile Forms and Due Diligence Questionnaires
- Review DD reports and complete approval process for a subset of reports
- Global/international interaction with local GC&E Officers when escalating Red Flags, Cautions or Additional Adverse Findings
- Conduct all routine, administrative activities and process flow related to TPDD revetting of legacy Third Parties
- Oversee, support, and manage activities related to Third Party ABAC training, and Bottler Framework
- Communicate with and respond to questions from PEP Business Sponsors and Third Party contacts, providing comprehensive feedback
- Provide support as needed related to the selection and review processes associated with Third Party ABAC transaction testing
- Meet regularly with ABAC Team members to address Third Party ABAC training and Third Party ABAC transaction testing
- Become a technology ambassador by leveraging data analytics and reporting to assist as needed in the selection and review of high risk Third Parties for ABAC transaction testing, as well as other TPDD-specific statistics
- Conduct extensive testing for the implementation of platform updates/enhancements by the TPDD provider, providing detailed feedback in direct discussions with provider to identify bugs and efficiencies
- Monitor a newly created PepsiCo SPA box for sanctions, and manage a manual pre-engagement Sanctions screening, a new global initiative piloting in Spring 2024
- Multiple weekly meetings with the TPDD Platform provider to identify efficiencies and opportunities for TPDD Platform improvement and implement capabilities
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
Experience
- English and Spanish fluency required – for speaking and writing
- College/University Degree and 4+ years of work experience (ideal if in Compliance & Ethics)
- Previous experience navigating vendor management tools/interfaces would be beneficial
- Excellent command of Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Experience generating complex system reports to help spot trends and key insights to share with the global C&E team
- Experience leveraging data analytics, including pivot tables and PowerBI

- Must be willing to work a different standard set of hours, or to schedule calls and meetings outside standard work hours, to accommodate for time zone differences; this person’s manager will be based in the U.S.
