We are currently searching for an ETL Tester:

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes in ADO (Azure DevOps).
• Execute test cases, including functional, integration, system, and performance testing of ETL processes.
• Validate data extraction, transformation, and load processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and developers to understand ETL requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Participate in requirement review meetings and provide feedback on testability.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across different stages of the ETL process and Power Platform Applications (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to verify the correctness of data transformations and loads.
• Develop and execute SQL queries to validate data transformations and ensure data integrity.
• Generate and maintain detailed test reports and documentation.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to QA Lead.
• Document test results, defects, and corrective actions taken.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in software testing, with significant experience in ETL testing.
• +5 yrs experience totally in testing.
• Experience in automation tester: Selenium
• Proven experience in data validation, data reconciliation, and data quality assurance.
• In-depth knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.
• Strong background in database testing, data validation, and data quality assurance.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database testing.
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Azure ADF, Azure Synapse Analytics, SSIS, or similar.
• Experience with Power BI Testing.

Languages

• Advanced Oral English.
• Native Spanish.
