We are currently searching for an Financial Cloud Operations Analyst:

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex financial tasks related to public cloud spend on platforms like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud.
• Collect, review, and analyze usage, operational, and financial data from various sources.
• Conduct financial analysis to determine the impacts of cloud adoption on business performance.
• Act as a subject matter expert to grow cloud-based analytics capabilities and adoption.
• Collaborate with data teams to integrate and optimize cloud-based solutions.
• Define the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and business value for public cloud adoption.
• Develop, execute, and track the cloud reservation portfolio.
• Analyze cloud usage and capacity requirements to improve optimization efforts.
• Assist cost owners in managing, tracking, and reporting financial data.
• Make recommendations for financial optimization and cost efficiency.
• Develop plans for assigned accounts and monitor performance.
• Support the development and enforcement of optimization policies and guidelines.
• Conduct audits and analyses of cloud optimization practices and ensure compliance with policies.
• Identify risk areas and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain current knowledge of public cloud regulations, policies, and optimization practices.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 10 yrs experience totally IT
• 3-5 years of experience in finance or business analysis.
• Expertise in cloud optimization, managing cloud portfolios exceeding $5 million annually.
• Background in managing cloud reservations.
• Familiarity with FinOps concepts or certifications (preferred).
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools like Excel.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud financial management in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.

Languages:

• Advanced English.
• Native Spanish.
