We are currently searching for a Senior Assembly Line Engineer:
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain status reports.
- Communicate effectively with peers, including designers, project teams, and quality teams.
- Set and achieve targets while working independently.
- Use computers efficiently to perform tasks and collaborate with team members.
- Integrate well into new teams, working proactively to solve problems.
- Leverage creativity and past innovative experiences to enhance processes.
- Communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering. Preferred: Degree Engineer with relevant experience in assembly lines.
- Over 10 years of experience in assembly line processes.
- Proficient in process and fixture planning, tools, and gauge selection.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle assembly processes.
- Expertise in software like Catia, 3D Experience, Teamcenter, and AutoCAD.
- Experienced in process documentation (RFQs, process sheet development, and modifications).
- Familiar with DCP documents, such as PFMEA and control plans.
- Knowledgeable in torque tool selection for assembly lines.
- Understanding of logistics, line-side storage, and packaging standards.
- Experience in the installation and commissioning of EFTGs.
- Skilled in problem-solving and station layout preparation.
- Expertise in stage-by-stage process planning.
- Familiarity with benchmarking tools and techniques.
- Specialized knowledge in power tools, transportation systems, and small tools like pneumatic tools, fixtures, racks, and lifting equipment.
