We are currently searching for an Oracle L3 requirement Administrator:
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in management, prioritization, and resolution of minor enhancements, problem management activities, and stability analysis.
- Proactively identify database issues and continuously work towards service improvements.
- Perform advanced configuration and troubleshooting, providing permanent solutions to technical issues.
- Implement Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and administer Oracle Golden Gate, Shareplex, and HVR replication.
- Conduct failover and switchover activities between data centers and disaster recovery (DR) sites.
- Design strategies for CPU, memory, storage, security, backup, and recovery.
- Troubleshoot cluster failures, ASM disk group issues, and DR-related problems.
- Lead database upgrades, migrations, and implement high-availability solutions.
- Install and configure Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control.
- Formulate backup and recovery strategies, including physical and logical database design.
- Administer advanced replication and VLDB databases.
- Transport data across platforms.
- Evaluate database-related software and administer 3rd party DBA tools.
- Provide training and education on DB tools.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Golden Gate.
- Hands-on knowledge of RMAN, Linux, Windows, Oracle Performance Tuning, and Grid Control.
- Ability to manage database failures, recoveries, and performance issues.
- Expertise in SQL tuning, capacity planning, and database security design.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies, VLDB administration, and 3rd party DBA tools.
- Experience managing issues escalated from L2 support.
- High proficiency in clustering and high-availability performance optimization.
- Willingness to work on 24x7 project shifts.
- experience EXACC/ EXADATA MUST
Desired Skills:
- Experience in logical database design and performance troubleshooting.
- Advanced administration of database replication.
- Experience evaluating DB-related software.
- Ability to provide training and education on DBA tools.
Languages:
- Spanish: Native or advanced.
- English: Advanced oral.
