We are currently searching for a OT Architect (Time Series & Rich Media):
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement solutions to ingest, contextualize, curate, and expose time series data, rich media, and unstructured content using Azure services.
- Establish technical standards and ensure solutions comply with cybersecurity guardrails.
- Implement and manage IoT Hub, EventHubs, EventGrids, Azure Data Explorer, and cloud-based storage (Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Data Lake).
- Create and maintain data pipelines with tools like Azure Media Streaming, Azure Functions, and Databricks.
- Apply modern application development principles (DevOps, OAuth, RESTful APIs) and data management practices, including governance, metadata, and data modeling.
- Own technical decisions and align them with business strategies and portfolio investments.
- Ensure quality technical delivery and reduce technical debt while driving modernization initiatives.
- Mentor and coach engineers, conduct design/code reviews, and promote best practices like automation, scalability, and modularity.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of overall experience as a Technical Architect and Engineer.
- Expertise with Azure services, including IoT Hub, EventHubs, EventGrids, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Storage, and Data Lake.
- Experience with data pipelining and tools such as Azure Media Streaming, Azure Functions, and Databricks.
- Strong understanding of modern development practices, including DevOps and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with data management, governance principles, and complex data types.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
