We are currently searching for a Power BI Developer:

Responsibilities:

• Develop Power BI solutions, including data modeling, creating relationships between data sources, and designing visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports.
• Perform data analysis and visualization to understand complex business requirements and translate them into meaningful insights.
• Integrate data from various sources such as databases, spreadsheets, and APIs into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Use SQL for data querying and manipulation, and work with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Design and implement efficient data models in Power BI, including creating calculated columns, measures, and hierarchies.
• Utilize Power Query for data transformation and cleansing, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for complex calculations in Power BI.
• Implement data governance principles and security measures to protect sensitive data in Power BI.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, gather requirements, and present insights and recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power BI development, data integration, and performance optimization.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new Power BI features, updates, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 9-12 years of experience in Power BI development.
• Strong analytical skills for data analysis and visualization.
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of database concepts.
• Experience in data integration from various sources and knowledge of ETL processes.
• Familiarity with data governance and security measures in Power BI.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.

Desired:

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience in the insurance domain.
• Experience with other Microsoft BI tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).

Languages

• Advanced Oral English.
• Native Spanish.
