We are currently searching for a Remote Senior Azure Data Factory (ADF) Developer:
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage data models, data logging, and data validation processes.
- Build and optimize data pipelines, including wrangling, transformations, and consumption layers.
- Define data quality and master data rules for matching, merging, and de-duplicating.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
- Implement data warehousing solutions, leveraging MS-Azure stack, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
- Develop and document solutions, including architecture, design diagrams, and code comments.
- Guide and support team members in managing development tasks, dependencies, and technical issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 4-8+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or related fields, supporting Marketing or similar organizations.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, business systems, and software design patterns.
- Proficiency in defining data quality standards and managing data orchestration using ADF.
- Proficient with Azure services, specifically Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
- Experience with big data analytics, data warehousing, and modern data warehouse/Lambda architecture.
- Skilled in technical documentation, including solution design, architecture diagrams, and detailed code comments.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Problem-solving skills in a big data environment.
Desired:
- Experience with PowerShell or comparable scripting languages.
- Knowledge of additional Azure services, such as Azure Data Lake Analytics, U-SQL, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
