The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a(n) Medical Education Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Designing and executing “best-in-class” Area, regional and country medical education programs with the goal of educating HCPs on the safe and effective use of Solventum Solutions.
Utilizing advanced project management skills to develop program project plans inclusive of timelines, budget, scope, and resources as well as ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
Developing and owning relationships with key opinion leaders and key decision makers and strategically leverage these relationships to advance messaging, impact, and influence.
Driving continuous process improvement and ongoing enhancement of program formats, agendas, logistics, using meaningful measures of success to drive decisions.
Developing and fostering strong relationships with key internal partners to ensure continuous alignment and drive impactful results.
Leveraging knowledge of pre-clinical, clinical, and economic data, techniques, and healthcare dynamics in assigned regions; maintain current understanding of general trends in medicine and peer-to-peer education
Demonstrating a strong commitment to both corporate and Global Medical Sciences (GMS) operations, principles, and values. Enthusiastically and actively championing the value of medical education and GMS and how it contributes to the success of the organization.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Three years of experience in peer-to-peer medical education, with significant in-house (non-agency) experience in a private, public, government or military or at least 5 years in a MedComm agency environment
Advanced written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Advanced degree in business, science, or healthcare field
Familiarity with woundcare space
Project Management Certification
Experience working in a matrix organization and with diversified cultures
Strong understanding of HCC and regulatory guidelines related to medical education, with a strong knowledge of guidelines around HCP interactions and navigating any at-risk scenarios to minimize risk to the company
Travel: May include up to 30% travel
