Responsibilities:
Develop strong sourcing capabilities within the company in NA that support the organization in delivering successful logistics services regionally.
Maintain connections with key internal stakeholders to understand demand and future trends in their needs.
Support the development of regional category strategies for their categories to ensure targets are met, with the lowest life cycle costs.
Implement strategies within the portfolio, driving results and achieving strategic objectives.
Execute a disciplined application of the company's strategic sourcing methodology: perform ongoing analysis of spend in assigned categories and sub-categories, assess market intelligence and develop a comprehensive market analysis, Identify and approve new suppliers to diversify the supply portfolio.
Understand and apply SRM principles within the category and region: develop partnerships and collaborations with new and existing suppliers to support growth strategy with innovation and technology, support technology buying by accessing supplier capabilities and reduce non-value added suppliers.
Provide continuous and impactful communication to stakeholders. Be the advocate for regional spend.
Negotiate framework agreements with suppliers.
Negotiate and resolve supplier performance issues and negotiate claims, when necessary.
Ensure coordination both within the NA region as well as with other regions globally in the company.
Optimization and continuous improvement of service quality through collaboration with interest groups.
Reduction of working capital through negotiation of payment terms and collaboration with stakeholders on long-term plans and initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor, or master’s degree, preferably in Business, Engineering, Law, Economics or Supply Chain.
Good verbal, interpersonal, and written communications in English (Advance level of English)
Negotiation skills and experience (> 4 years) in English.
Must be able to prioritize tasks and function effectively under pressure.
Minimum 3-5 years in US procurement in relevant categories.
ERP (SAP/Oracle) knowledge.
Experience in the F&F industry including an understanding of religious certifications, regulations, and REACH.
Experience with Office 365, procurement tools, and sourcing tools.
CPSM (Certified Professionals in Supply Management)/ISM or equivalent preferred.
Salary Range: 40k MXN monthly
Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days form home)
