Description
The Carrier Sales is responsible for procuring carriers for new or existing business, operational needs and/or margin improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing carriers.
- Regularly communicate with carriers to understand their capabilities, capacity, and market conditions.
- Negotiate favorable terms and rates with carriers to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.
- Stay informed about market trends and conditions to negotiate competitive agreements
- Monitor and assess carrier capacity to ensure it aligns with the company's needs.
- Negotiate with carriers to generate capacity for new and existing business.
- Constantly look for new carriers to work with according to the company’s needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- English level – Advance
- Experience: Minimum At least 1 year of proven experience in logistics of transportation and/or brokerage, and/or sales
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve problems efficiently.
Work Environment
- Location: ON SITE (office located in San Pedro Garza Garcia)
- Hours: Day Shift M-F
