JOB TITLE IATF 16949: LEAD AUDITOR – CLIENT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities/ Activities

1. Responsible for attending any required training and following all procedures/processes/policies within BSI for management of clients, management of a home based office, use of BSI equipment and communication both internal and external to the organization.
2. Responsible for following the training plan developed by the AVP in order to reach assessor status and then Lead Assessor status through the proscribed program (based on the knowledge, skills and experience they have as well as the requirements of ISO/TS 16949). Participate in additional training based on future business needs.
3. Responsible for managing a portfolio of assigned clients based on location and a match of qualifications and client contract requirements.
4. Responsible for contacting clients and scheduling the visits, planning the assessments, making travel plans, conducting the assessments and reporting and managing the results.
5. Responsible for monitoring the client accounts to ensure that records, visit cycle, invoicing and other related matters are properly dealt with to assure client satisfaction is maintained.
6. Responsible for leading teams, when necessary, and mentoring and coaching new or inexperienced colleagues as needed to meet the business needs.
7. Any other assignments as needed to meet assessment delivery business objectives.
8. Qualified according to ISO 19011 and the relevant accreditation body rule.
9. Competency in ISO quality standards, audit management, team work and interview techniques.
10. Automotive core tools knowledge and competence.
11. Have related ISO 9001:2000 auditing experience.
12. Minimum work experience of 3 years ISO 9001:2000 third party audits as a lead auditor in automotive manufacturing industries (first or second party auditing experience may be considered).
13. 6 years full time appropriate practical experience (including 2 years dedicated to Quality Assurance activities) in the past 10 years in an organization meeting applicability of IATF 16949. Experience in industries with similar scopes of applicability in chemical electrical or metallic commodities may be considered.

This position requires a minimum of 100% travel to and from clients, with many of those days requiring overnight stays.
