Due to increased customer demand, Danfoss Mexico Sensing Solutions is establishing new production lines in the Sensing Solutions division in Apodaca, Mexico. For our Sensor growth journey, we are searching for Process Engineers to be a part of a newly established team. As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in installing, running in, and ramping up our new highly automated production line for Pressure Sensors, including working out all necessary production-related documentation. After releasing and stabilizing our new production line, you will be responsible for continuous improvements related to OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency), First Pass Yield (quality), and productivity (cost). Future tasks will include the introduction of new product variants on the above equipment and participation in the installation of new production lines for the production of A2L Gas Sensors. You will work with state-of-the-art processes and be a part of a global team cooperating with colleagues across country borders and cultures.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Installing, running in, and ramping up new production lines
• Creating and maintaining process-related documentation and work instructions
• Optimizing existing production processes with a focus on quality and cost
• Driving systematic root cause analysis together with the production team to solve production interruptions and stops
• Systematically monitoring process performance data (KPI) and proactively taking needed action in case of deviations
• Main responsible person for the production processes and close cooperation with Production, Quality, Production Planning, and Product Engineering

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing or Engineering, or relevant technical experience from a similar position
• Min. 3 years of operational experience working with mass production & LEAN manufacturing
• Preferably including implementation of new production equipment and high-volume automated production
• Has a Can Do mindset and is willing to set the standards also on the shop floor solving challenges together with Operators and Maintenance
• Likes to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams with a high level of activities and dynamics
• Experience with relevant production processes like Laser Welding, Soldering, and Test-Measurement systems
• Fluent in Spanish and English, verbal and in writing
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 methods and processes
