Sensory Project Leader, your future opportunity?

As a sensory project leader you will manage sensory projects within the T&W organization. Your role involves coordinating and implementing sensory testing and research activities to gather data and insights related to flavors. You'll also provide information to develop new flavors and solutions, following our goals and global marketing strategy.

You’ll report to our Consumer Sensory Insights Manager based in Ciudad de Mexico, working four days onsite and one from home a week.

In this exciting opportunity, you'll:

1. Develop business-focused solutions and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver results according to project goals and needs.
2. Contribute and coordinate sensory projects at a regional or global level, with a focus on business and customer.
3. Provide relevant sensory support to global or regional marketing, product managers, flavor creation, applications, and sales teams.
4. Communicate sensory results and insights to all partners.
5. Work with the sensory team to ensure adequate resources for projects; provide instruction, guidance, and mentoring when needed.
6. Ensure implementation of the latest methodologies and best practices.
7. Contribute to the sensory elements of the sensory strategy.
8. Share your expertise with regional and global teams.
9. Work together with Consumer Understanding (CU) to provide sensory and consumer information to project teams.
10. Maintain accurate records of all sensory tests, creating and entering information into the sensory system.
11. Design advanced computerized testing protocols.

Your professional profile includes:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in the sensory field and/or in the food industry
2. Advance Level of Sensory Experience
3. Advance level of Laboratory testing proficiency
4. Advance level of Statistical software proficiency
5. English: Intermediate to Advance level
6. Knowledge on sensory methodologies including descriptive, discriminative, and quantitative tests to address goals.
