As Digital Marketing Engineer you’ll configure and operate enterprise digital marketing ecosystems from Adobe, Google and others. Using your CS education and coding skills as a basis, you’ll learn these systems and help iCrossing’s clients in this specialized, business-critical arena.
Requirements:
- Computer Science degree or at least 3 years’ experience as a developer
- Solid understanding of
- HTML5, CSS and JavaScript for front end development at least one other programming language, ideally Python or Java, SQL
- Very comfortable using Excel
- Ability to learn measurement reporting tools and create custom reporting templates quickly
- An enthusiasm for learning new skills and technologies – there will be some steep learning curves!
- Most importantly, you are the sort of person who looks at a situation, assesses what needs to be done, and does it. You apply whatever skills you have to the task and you do all this without needing to be told.
- Great if you also have
- Experience with any of the Adobe marketing technologies such as Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign, or any of the tools in the Adobe Experience Platform
- Experience with Google Tag manager, Ensighten or another tag manager
- Experience with creating reports on large datasets
- Experience moving and transforming data between systems
- Advanced English (professional)
Functions:
- Learn digital marketing technologies, such as Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform, Google Analytics, Ensighten Tag Manager
- Assist senior team members to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot these systems
- Write custom code to support business use-cases, in languages such as Javascript, Python, SQL and other product-specific languages
- Depending on the technology and client needs you may develop front end HTML, CSS & Javascript code to display digital marketing content
- Understand basic measurement and tracking concepts for media and site analytics programs
- Depending on the technology and client needs you may use Excel or Paid Media, Site Analytics tools to create reporting on digital marketing campaigns
- Understand tracking and tagging concepts and implement them within various tag management systems
