Role Description:

You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities):

1. Using strong computer science fundamentals, write highly-performant, scalable, and secure software with cloud-native deployments.
2. Develop data structures, pipelines, and systems with relational (SQL Server) and non-relational (Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB) database systems.
3. Contribute to a positive DevOps culture--teach us how to be more efficient and toil less.
4. Achieve good, automated unit test coverage, and automate deployments.
5. Develop, Scale, and Maintain the AlertWatch infrastructure to support the expanding customer needs, including:
1. User facing features
2. Backend data processing components
3. Data acquisition
6. Take ownership of projects and customer sites to deliver and maintain the excellent level of service.
7. Provide rotational after-hours support as required.

You’ll have (Qualification & Experience):

1. Must have 4 - 6 years of experience in development of web application using Python, Python Flask and python scripting with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, should be aware about API development concepts.
2. Extensive experience with Apache Kafka and related components.
3. Experience with distributed computing, such as Databricks.
4. Must have 3+ years experience in AWS/GCP cloud services like Virtual machine, Kubernetes, Storage, Pub Sub, SQL, etc.
5. Must be able to mentor technical team and guide them for technical queries, code review.
6. Must have 1+ years of work experience with Data frames, Pandas.
7. Should have sound knowledge to contribute towards system design and architecture.
8. Should have 3+ years of experience in SQL/NoSQL.
9. Should have experience in async job/task/messaging in celery with pub sub/rabbit mq/redis/Kafka.
10. Should have 4+ years of hands-on experience in unit testing.
11. Should have hands-on experience with bitbucket, git, agile, Kanban.
12. Should have good communication skills.
13. Good to have 1+ years of experience in Dataflow/ Apache beam/ Apache flink.
14. Good to have 2+ years of experience in Java.
15. Good to have experience with Airflow, Load balancer.
16. Good to have experience working with Healthcare/Biotechnology projects.
