Job Description

Responsible for warehouse administration and/or providing support to production, keeping all materials in good condition, and supporting and training team leaders and material handlers to keep production lines running. Also responsible for developing work instructions and improving warehouse processes to meet company goals. Must be capable of leading the warehouse team if the Materials Coordinator is unavailable.

• Execute and ensure the standards that contribute to the performance of the warehouse (SQCD).
• Ensure the flow and distribution of materials for production.
• Monitor the movement of physical materials and systems (SAP).
• Hire, develop, motivate, and evaluate direct warehouse personnel.
• Manage logistics processes for receiving goods, stocking, picking, and shipping finished goods and waste.
• Organize the training needs of teams.
• Perform activities related to safety.
• Coordinate efficient communication between all teams regarding shipping/receiving, warehouse inventory, and internal material handling.
• Supervise the production system and coordinate resources to meet targets for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Costs, while eliminating waste.
• Contribute to and execute actions for safety and quality problem-solving with root cause analysis and risk elimination.
• Ensure proper operational controls based on EHS standards, including environmental risks, waste management, and legal requirements.
• Ensure the correct understanding of safety and environmental protocols, attend assigned training, and report any malfunctioning processes or machinery to the supervisor.

• Implement BPS (Bosch Production System) practices.

Support and maintain management systems ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001, and ISO 50001, as well as Clean Industry standards.
