What You’ll be Doing

The Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) is a pivotal role within the Customer Supply Chain organization. You will be working directly with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Account Managers (CAM) and Regional Sales & Marketing teams. The candidate will be able to optimize supply to match customer requirements while ensuring best in class customer service.

You will actively manage regional execution activities to ensure adherence to customer service performance, in-stock goals, and promotional activities. You will communicate customer needs and requirements to supply chain partners to facilitate inventory planning and deployment. You will lead the allocation process with our regional marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment. You will partner with CX Operations and Customer Account Managers in analyzing supply incoming and track risks proactively while translating the customer forecast and comparing it with our business plan to properly communicate changes to the Demand Planning team.

This role will focus on development of a systemic approach to service with a focus on connectivity across multiple key functions including Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Customer Supply Chain and Logistics. This role will serve as a key enabler of service excellence for our customers, as well as inventory management and efficiency for the company. You will be supporting the overall E2E Supply Chain process improvement with a key focus on metric improvement and execution planning.

A S&OE owns the process for finalizing deployment plans that provide high levels of service and optimal inventory availability. Through active collaboration with S&OP Production Planning and Sales Operations, the S&OE ensures priorities are fulfilled and key exceptions are resolved. Through execution of standard daily work with high attention to detail, he or she ensures plans are optimized over the near-term horizon.

The S&OE is then responsible for monitoring the total inventory (Safety Stock + Cycle Stock) for his/her area of responsibility, with accountability for On Hand Available to Promise.

  • Aggregated Customer forecast review
  • Supply Optimization (supply matching and expedites) vs. Cost Tracking
  • Aging/excess clearance action plan and tracking
  • Risk management (GR/DCS gap to financial target)
  • Analyze customer demand signals, customer channel and POS data to ensure order validity.
  • Lead the customer allocation process for the Latin America North America region for all product categories.
  • Supply balancing between DCs
  • Work with “CAMs” to ensure future demand is in line with the forecasted plan.
  • Actively Participate and contribute to weekly S&OE meetings.
  • Cooperate with S&OP Production Planning to plan adjustments according to demand changes.
  • Evaluate and recommend scenarios to improve supply outlook and safety stock.
  • Proactively identify and take action to prevent supply constraints.
  • Provide timely, clear feedback on product availability inquiries from Sales.
  • Participates in weekly S&OE process, content creation, and executing decisions.
  • Work closely with sales operations to implement and track adherence to sales allocation process.

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Analytical capabilities with demonstrated ability to understand use of advanced analytics and optimization techniques.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability in face of uncertain or incomplete information.
  • Preference is given to LATAM retail consumer products experience and demonstrated applied knowledge of customer, market, and channel business.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills.
  • English language - spoken and written is a must.
  • Portuguese language - spoken and written is a plus.
  • Computer proficiency in email environments, Microsoft & Google Apps - Strong in Excel, Power BI and/or Tableau skills.
  • Proven experience within international business environments.
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented, with a positive proactive attitude and a high degree of initiative.
  • You embrace continuous learning and process improvement.

Education:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline.
